As Sera Boyd MacFee grows spiritually, she has arrived at a place where she is a better judge of what is important in her life. She has moved from infancy to adulthood in the four years since she was nearly dead. Just recently she grew to realize that the accident that almost took her life actually saved it.

She has reached moments of happiness beyond her imagination and is now working in areas she never before considered. Sera is also faced with new relationships and has even moved to new levels of friendship with her relatives.

It is difficult to see Sera grow and move on as it is difficult, sometimes for parents to see their children grow up and move on to their lives as adults. When children grow up and reach the age of consent they move into the area where their need for parental care has lessened. When this happens some parents can tighten their hold; they can let go and feel abandoned or they can let go and let God. When parents let go and let God they trust their children to make good decisions. The good news is that as children become adults, they can always visit home and add new dimensions to their parents’ lives.

Trilogy Overview

The Last Miserable Day and Sera's Stand provide a realistic illustration of many Christians' lives where they faithfully seek their place and direction toward Jesus Christ. The first book, The Last Miserable Day, finds Sera at the beginning of her ultimate walk toward Christian maturity and commissioning discipleship. At this point she is virtually on the floor, the lowest point in her spiritual life. In Sera's Stand she begins to stand on the Word and to grow. The last book shows Sera walking in full discipleship. Find more information at www.authorhouse.com.
